Edwin Cooke

Edwin has more than 30 years of experience in the agricultural, meat processing, and regional business sectors, with a strong focus on operational excellence, workforce development, and business growth. He is currently General Manager – Livestock Northern at JBS Australia, overseeing livestock procurement for five processing plants and five feedlots, supplying domestic and export beef markets across Australia. Over the past two decades, Edwin has led large-scale workforce recruitment and settlement programs for regional businesses and has held directorships across organisations in recruitment, health services, animal health, pharmaceuticals, and business consulting. He also operates a cattle and horticultural enterprise in Central Queensland and provides advisory services to leading agricultural businesses and investment funds. His industry involvement includes serving as an Honorary Council Steward (Beef Committee) for the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland and as a member of the AgForce Work Health and Safety Committee. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Rural Management) with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne, and a Master of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
